Issues affecting the Cities of New Brunswick will be front and centre on Saturday in Miramichi as the association holds its annual conference.
Saint John Mayor Don Darling tells us the eight mayors and some of their councillors will be discussing ways to get the problems affecting their cities resolved.
“Taxation and other reforms that are important for the Cities of New Brunswick and reflecting on where we are and how we are going to push forward to ensure government takes action on these priorities,” stated Darling.
Mayor Darling says he is not concerned about a possible change in government because he knows the PC leader has spoken about fair taxation along with the leaders of the Greens and the People’s Alliance.
