Former Education Minister Jody Carr agrees with his former sparring political sparing partner Kelly Lamrock that school districts are following a dated policy when it comes to school closures.
Oromocto MLA Jody Carr tells CHSJ News the current school review closure process needs to be overhauled.
He says the districts and the Minister of Education have to work with parents and look beyond the closure of schools to their viability and the quality of education.
Carr says District Educations Councils and the Education minister need to be on the same page and work with parents.
