St. Stephen is looking a little fuller these days as the horseshoes are thrown.
With 208 competitors in the Horseshoe Pitching Championship, Bordertown is feeling the effects.
President of Horseshoe Canada, as well as the local St. Stephen Club, Jason Rideout tells us it was interesting driving through town last night, and seeing all the motels in the area packed, and all the restaurants full. “That was part of the reason I looked at that. I had my other hat on as a St. Stephen Development Board President and working with the St. Stephen Chamber of Commerce, this is a great opportunity.”
Rideout says this is a great opportunity to showcase St. Stephen, the Civic Center, and the community as a whole.
