The Deputy Chair of the TD Bank Group came to town giving $50,000 to the Social Enterprise Hub on Prince Edward Street.
Frank McKenna tells CHSJ News he likes the concept, the people involved and giving back to the province.
He drew a link between the Refinery project and this announcment saying a thriving economy needs all cylinders firing meaning they need big business and small business.
The project which will see the Saint John Loan Fund and the Learning Exchange sharing space in a new building recently received $300,000 from the Federal government.
The Social Enterprise Hub will also include ACAP Saint John and its Executive Director Graeme Stewart-Robinson says they like the idea of having other like-minded non profits in the same space to bounce ideas off.
