We now have more information about that home invasion on the East side of the city which is being investigated by the Major Crime unit.
Sergeant Lori Magee of City Police says two men came into an apartment on Russell Street with a weapon and stole the cellphones of the two people in the apartment, a 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl. The man received injuries to his face and has been treated and released from hospital.
Two 18-year-old men were arrested Tuesday night just after 8pm after a vehicle stop around Thorne Avenue. They’re being held for a court appearance.
These two men and the 20-year-old victim do know each other.
