St. Malachy’s student Jack McCrossin has been awarded the National Loran Scholarship.
Jack was one of 31 students selected out of over 4000 who applied.
The scholarship is worth $100,000 and Jack says finding out he was chosen was a surreal experience.
He says it was a relief to find out he was picked, considering there’s so many worries associated with going to University and having to pay so much money.
Jack says he’s thinking about attending the University of Toronto to study Urban Development.
He was one of three chosen from New Brunswick.
