Remembrance Day is revered is this part of the world so there are many options this weekend where people can observe the sacrifice made by veterans.
The Remembrance Day ceremony at Harbour Station is coming up on Sunday.
Doors open at 9 am and the organizers would like those attending to be in their seats by 10:15 am. For those attending the ceremony, free parking is being offered by the parking commission at the Peel Plaza parking garage.
There are two ceremonies on the west side, there is a service at the Cedar Hill Field of Honour at 9 a.m. and another at the Lancaster Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m. between Barnhill and Saint Rose schools.
Both are organized by the Branch #69 legion.
In East Saint John, Jervis Bay Memorial Branch #53 legion has a service at Ross Memorial park on Graham street.
In Quispamsis another indoor ceremony at the qPlex, Doors open at 9 am, Service begins at 10:30 am Guests are asked to be seated by 10:15 am, If you are laying a wreath please sit in section G.
Rothesay:
Cenotaph in the Commons Outdoor Remembrance 10:45 am
Hampton:
Hampton Cenotaph, Veterans Park In front of the Hampton Community Centre Parade forms at the middle school at 10:20, begins at 10:30 sharp.Following the service is a lunch social open to the public.
Norton:
Norton Legion no. 76 Service will begin at 10:30am Ceremony to end at Noon Dinner for members, Veterans and family at 1pm
Sussex: Saunders Irving Chapel Please be seated by 10:30 There will be a social from Noon to 1 pm Sussex Legion Branch 20 Dinner for Veterans, Legion members and guests at 1 pm.
