Blaine Higgs To Be Sworn In At 11 AM As The New Premier

It’s an exciting day for Blaine Higgs.

The Quispamsis MLA and former Finance Minister will officially become the Premier today.

Higgs will be the 34th Premier of this province and at the age of 64, he will be the oldest to ever become a Premier in New Brunswick.

Lieutenant Governor Jocelyne Roy Vienneau will administer the oath to premier-designate Higgs and the incoming members of the executive council.

A ceremony is happening at the Legislature in Fredericton at 11 AM this morning
