A 34-year-old Rothesay man arrested after an armed robbery in Quispamsis has made his first court appearance.

Police say Nathaniel Collings is facing several charges in connection with the Nov. 9 incident at the Foodland/Needs Gas Bar.

Collings remains in custody and will return to court on Nov. 28 to enter a plea.

Kennebecasis Regional Police say an armed man robbed the clerk of some cash and other items before fleeing the scene.

Officers say they arrested a suspect five days later.
