In the Q, Mark Tremaine getting the game-winning goal in the Saint John Sea Dog’s 2-1 victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. Luke Green also finding the net for Saint John. Acadie-Bathurst recognizing Sea Dogs equipment manager David “DK” Kelly who sat on the Saint John bench just a few days after his second cancer surgery in less than a year, achieving a consecutive-games streak of 680.

At the Canadian men’s curling championship, Brad Jacobs rink clinched a spot in the final. The team from Northern Ontario defeated Brad Gushue of Newfoundland 7-5 in last nights page playoff between the top two teams.

In the Maritime Hockey League it was Campbellton over St. Stephen 4-1 and Dieppe toppled Woodstock 4-1.

In the NHL, Edmonton fell 2-1 in a shootout to the Blackhawks, Calgary rolled over Detroit 5-2 and Ottawa got by Buffalo 3-2. Other winners include Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Minnesota.

The Toronto Raptors lost 103-94 to the Charlotte Hornets. Toronto has lost seven of their last eight games.
