Moncton Boy Featured In PSA Promoting Organ Donation

A young boy we recently told you about, has now been featured in a PSA that talks about the importance of organ donation.

Nine month old Zaccari Buell is featured in the PSA that is being run at the Moncton Miracles playoff games.

He is one of two children in the Maritimes in the past 15 years diagnosed with Congenital Nephrotic syndrome. It is expected he will need a kidney transplant.

He has spent most of his life at the IWK Hospital in Halifax..

It was put together with the help of the Moncton Miracles, St Louis Bar and Grill and Zaccari’s parents.

Owner and Operator of St. Louis Bar and Grill Keith Mackintosh says it all started when he approached by Zaccari’s parents, and he was immediately convinced when he met him.

He pitched the idea to the Moncton Miracles and they immediately jumped onboard.

The PSA ran during yesterday’s Moncton Miracles game, and will be run again tomorrow night during game four being held at the Moncton Coliseum.
