Losses From The Sea Dogs and the Alpines Last Night

The Moncton Wildcats grabbing a 3-1 come from behind win over the Saint John Sea Dogs last night at Harbour Station. Garrett Johnson scored the game winning goal with less than 7 minutes remaining.

NB Senior Baseball: The Moncton Fishercats had 5 runs in the 5th on their way to a 6-1 victory over the Saint John Alpines in Game 1 of a best of three playoff series. Game 2 is tonight at 7:30 at Memorial Field.

In the Majors, the Jays lost 4-1 to the Rangers but didn’t lose any ground in the AL remaining two games up on the Yankees.
Kansas City beat Baltimore 5-3, The Cards over the Diamondbacks by the same score, the Rays snuck by the Twins 5-4.
It took 13 innings for the New York Mets to beat the Phillies 9-5. The Yankees and the Red Sox did not play.

NBA Star Darryl Dawkins has passed away at the age of 58. He played with the 76ers and earned one of his nicknames “the Chocolate Thunder” from Stevie Wonder. He spent 14 seasons in the league also playing with Utah, New Jersey and Detroit.
