Quick work by K-V firefighters with help from fire crews from Hampton and Nauwigwauk saved a house on the Model Farm Road.
K-V Fire say the blaze started around 6:30 last night in a greenhouse before spreading to a loft above the garage.
The fire was prevented from spreading to the main house which did sustain some damage but could have been a lot worse.
There were no injuries and the cause is believed to be accidental.
