The work to restore Harbour Passage is scheduled to begin next Tuesday and continue until October 16th, if all goes well.
The restoration will be completed in phases, starting on the Chesley Drive end and working its way towards York Point. Roughly one third of the trail will be closed off at a time to allow for prep work and repairs.
When the section nearest York Point is over, the work will be done in reverse and in similarly sized sections. Doing the job this way will enable the asphalting to happen along with the cranberry coating to be applied.
