KV Fire crews battling a blaze in Rothesay early this morning.
Platoon Chief Mike Boyle tells CHSJ News they got the call just after 4am.
He says arriving crews found heavy smoke coming out of a front door and side door of a single family bungalow.
Boyle says a family of four living in the home and a house guest were not hurt in the blaze.
He says the smoke alarms went off and the family was able to get out safely.
Fire investigators are looking into the cause.
