Thursday Morning Sports For October 30th

Madison Bumgarner threw five innings of scoreless relief as the San Francisco Giants win their third World Series in five years with a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. Bumgarner was named the Most Valuable Player.

Just two games in the NHL……Detroit over Washington 4-2 and Edmonton lost to Nashville 4-1.

The Sea Dogs are now ranked 7th among junior teams in the country. They play in Cape Breton tonight. The Sea Dogs also rescheduling Support Our Troops Night from this Saturday to February 22nd. There will be a Remembrance Day pregame ceremony on Saturday night when Cape Breton is in town. There will also be a celebration of U-N-B Saint John’s 50th anniversary.

The Saint John Mill Rats opened up their preseason at home with a 108-104 win over Moncton in their first ever school day game.
