A Saint John business director pleading guilty to 11 counts of failing to file corporation tax returns.
The director for several residential housing building companies in the Port City Stillman Eugene Wilcox is being fined $11,000.
He was convicted for not filing corporation tax income tax returns for Fundy View Estates in 2010 and Fundy Quality Homes between 2006 to 2010 along with corporation contractor reporting returns for Fundy Quality Homes between 2006 to 2010.
According to the Canada Revenue Agency, the companies were involved in building a large residential subdivision on the West side over 10 years.
Wilcox has approximately one year to pay the fine.
