A small number of protestors braving the cold wind outside the energy building on Germain Street to stage a rally against the sale of NB Power to Hydro Quebec. Bethany Thorne Dykstra of Put NB People First says if a referendum was held on V-L-T’s a few years ago, then there should be one on this issue which affects all rate-payers.
Put N-B People First is urging every person in the Province to sign a number of petitions that are circulating calling on the Provincial cabinet to proclaim a referendum.
