Canterbury Street will be the home of a new Scotch Bar coming to Saint John in the near future.
Judith Mackin is a partner in the business. She says the bar will be called HopScotch and will offer a full range of bourbons, whiskeys, scotch, wines, beers and cocktails.
She says the experience she had with opening Happiness Wine bar ten years ago made her realize the city really embraces small niche bars.
Mackin says the location is in the hub of everthing on Canterbury Street.
She hopes the bar will be open to the public in June.
