ACAP Saint John Executive Director Graeme Stewart-Roberstson says a lot of things in development and practice have changed since much of the older structures in East Saint John have been built.
He tells us they are in touch with the developers of The Crossing–a proposal before Common Council that if approved would see housing, businesses and services on vacant land near Highway 1 and Ashburn Road.
Stewart-Robertson says there is a lot of wetland in play and the different regulators being the Province for the wetlands or the Federal government for the water courses that run through the area will have concerns that they share.
An open house is being held on The Crossing today at East Point Shopping today.
It’s being held in offices located between Anna Banana and the Gap.
