Snowmobilers Loving The Snowfall This Year

There are those who are cursing what feels like a neverending winter and then there are others who can’t get enough of the snow…

General Manager for the New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Ross Antworth says for the second year in a row, they’re seeing very positive results in the sport of snowmobiling, due to the amount of snow we’ve had.

“Good things happen when it snows like this, and there’s that much cold,” says Antworth. “It’s tremendous for the province, it’s tremendous for the tourism impact and all the people who make their living from depending on their being winter in our province.”

Antworth says the sport of snowmobiling has had a significant impact on tourism in the province and the numbers just keep growing.

He says many dealers are sold out of the machines this year due to an increase of people taking up the sport.

The snowmobile season officially wraps up on April 15th.
