Nine officers with the Saint John police department will be honoured for their service at an awards ceremony.
Police exemplary service medals and bars will be presented by the Lieutenant Governor of the New Bunswick Jocelyne Roy Vienneau at police headquarters.
Constables Geoff MacDonald, Darren Milburn and Bruce Weston will be getting a medal for 20 years of exemplary service.
Deputy Chief Bruce Connell, Sergeant Glenn Hayward, Retired Constable Trevor Jones, Constable Greg Lenihan, Sergeant Jeff LaFrance, and Inspector Cy Thompson are receiving their service bar for 30 years of service.
The ceremony is taking place on Thursday at 11am in the community room of One Peel Plaza.
