Quite a commotion in the area of Douglas Avenue, Bentley Street and Chesley Drive as people were trying to make their way home from work.
Several city police officers involved in a takedown just before 6.
David Raye witnessed the situation while a passenger travelling down Douglas Avenue and he tells CHSJ News he could see police taking statements in the area.
He says they turned around and started going down Bentley street and found an empty cruiser there and another in the parking lot of Green Lee Shoe.
Arrests were made in the area and the K-9 unit was brought in to conduct a search.
