Police are looking for a man suspected in two robberies from businesses on Main Street West in the past week.
Last night around 6:30p.m. a man walked into the Pizza Delight on Main Street West with a weapon and demanded cash from the register. He managed to make off with some money. The same man is also suspected of stealing a donation box for the SPCA Animal Rescue League from a variety store on Main Street West last Thursday.
Police are asking any nearby businesses with surveillance cameras to check their video between 6p.m. and 7p.m. for anyone matching the supect’s description.
He’s described as a white man in his mid to late 20s, about 5″7 or 5″8, slight, wearing a black ski mask, solid army green jacket which (long past the waist) and beige pants. He fled the scene on foot, and the Major Crime Unit as well as the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.
