Pittsburgh Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis has a blood clot in one of his lungs and is expected to miss at least six months. The clot was discovered after Dupuis, who’s 35, complained of discomfort in his chest.

Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid suffered a broken right thumb against St. Louis and will miss the next six to eight weeks.

Just two games in the NHL last night, Cam Talbot made 31 saves as the Rangers blanked Philadelphia 2-0 and Vancouver got by Edmonton 5-4.

The Sea Dogs are ranked sixth among junior teams in the country.
