Santa Claus is coming back to town today.
He’ll be taking part in the Lancaster West Santa Claus Parade which is starting at 1pm and runs from Barnhill School on Manawagonish Road via Main Street West at Ready Street to the Former Aquaris Tavern on Fairville Boulevard. Click here for a map of the parade route. This year’s theme is Rock & Roll Christmas.
Santa will then be stopping off in the Kennebecasis Valley to join their parade, themed Shining the Light on Christmas, which starts at 6pm at KVHS and travels along Hampton Road ending at the intersection of Clark Road and Marr Road.
You’re being asked to bring your letter to Santa, a non-perishable food item for the KV Food Basket, used eye-glasses for the Quispamsis Lions Club, and toys for the KV Fire Department.
If it’s too chilly for you, the KV Library is hosting a warm spot to watch the parade from 5pm to 8:30pm.
