The new YMCA is now at the $5.7 million dollar mark of its capital campaign – one step closer to its final goal of $7 million, thanks to a $50,000 dollar donation from CIBC Woody Gundy.
CIBC Branch Manager John Travis tells us the donation fits in with their mandate of investing in the future.
The new YMCA location is going up fast on Churchill Boulevard with the front entrance and some of the brickwork already complete. The projected opening date is November of next year.
