In the NHL, Montreal lost its second straight, 5-2 to Winnipeg………Anaheim rallied for a 3-2 win over Boston in overtime…..Los Angeles moved into a playoff spot with a 3-2 win over the Islanders….The Rangers clinch a playoff berth with a 5-1 win over Ottawa…..Former Sea Dog Jonathon Huberdeau opened the scoring with his 13th goal of the season as Florida beats the Leafs 4-1….Pittsburgh lost to Carolina 5-2…..Detroit lost to San Jose 6-4……In other play, it was Colorado 4 Vancouver 1…..Nashville 3 Tampa Bay 2…..Washington 3 New Jersey 2 (OT) and Arizona 4 Buffalo 3 (OT).

The “Q” League playoffs getting underway with Moncton defeating Chicoutimi 4-2 in their opener of a best of 7 series. The Sea Dogs open up their playoff series tonight in Baie-Comeau.
