It takes a lot of food and money to keep Romero House going so a food drive is underway to keep their shelves full.
The 8th annual Christmas Food Drive for Romero House continues until Saturday.
You can drop off non-perishable food, canned goods and cleaning products at the big trailer at Ritchie’s on Rothesay Ave before 8pm each night up it wraps up on Saturday.
Today is double up day so every donation brought in will be matched by the Richardson Barton Group.
Romero House is looking for restaurant size (large cans/packages/cases) of:
Beans, Creamed corn, Vegetable soup, Chicken noodle soup
Pasta/ pasta sauce; Alphagetti; Kraft dinner
Canned fruit; Canned vegetables; Frozen vegetables; Mayonnaise
Margarine; Powdered Milk; Dry Soup Mixes; Gravy Mixes
Cheese Whiz; Canned Meats (all kinds); Canned Fish & Juice
Household items:
Javex; Mr. Clean; Windex; Laundry Soap; Garbage Bags (extra large & large)
Clear extra large freezer bags; Rubber gloves; Latex gloves (all sizes)
Toilet Paper; Paper Towel
