Various by-elections have been held to fill vacant seats on municipal councils.
In Sussex, retired RCMP Sergeant Graham Milner won handily, forester Todd Beach in Hampton, Abby Pond in St. Stephen, Patrick Mann and Guy Groulx in St. Andrews to fill two seats on that town council and Crystal Cook in St. George.
