In the NFL, Green Bay built up a 31-7 lead over Atlanta by halftime but then had to hold on for a 43-37 win. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes for the Packers who are now 10 and 3 with a one game lead over Detroit in the N-F-C North.

In the NHL, Kevin Klein lost part of his ear in the first period and then scored in overtime to give the New York Rangers a 4-3 win over Pittsburgh……St. Louis doubled up on Florida 4-2 with Martin Brodeur in goal and New Jersey got by Carolina 2-1.

Paul MacLean, who won the Jack Adams Award as the NHL’s coach of the year just two seasons ago, fired by the Ottawa Senators and replaced by assistant Dave Cameron.

In the NBA, the Raptors rallied for 112-107 win over Denver in overtime to improve to 16 and 5 on the season. Prince William and Dutchess Kate were on hand in Brooklyn as Cleveland won its 7th in a row, 110-88 over the Nets. LeBron James was wearing an “I Can’t Breathe” warmup shirt during the pregame. The Golden State Warriors are now 18 and 2 after winning over Minnesota 102-86.
