The Cowboys at 10 and 4 move ahead of the Eagles into first place in the NFC East…..The Patriots became the first team in NFL history with 11 division titles in 12 years after a 41-13 win over Miami…..Pittsburgh and Baltimore remain the wildcards in the A-F-C after wins over Atlanta, 27-20 and Jacksonville, 20-12…….Detroit and Green Bay are tied for first in the N-F-C North after the Lions get by Minnesota 16-14 and the Packers lose in Buffalo 21-13. In other play, it was Seattle 17 San Francisco 7 to eliminate the 49’ers from playoff contention, New York Jets 16 Tennessee 11….Denver 22 San Diego 10……New York Giants 24 Washington 13…..Kansas City 31 Oakland 13…..Indianapolis 17 Houston 10……Carolina 19 Tampa Bay 17 and Cincinnati 30 Cleveland 0.

In the NHL, the Leafs win their fifth in a row, 4-3 in a shootout over Los Angeles with James Reimer in goal……Chicago edged Calgary 2-1 as Brandon Saad scored the winner in the third period and the Rangers blanked Edmonton 2-0 for their 3rd win in a row. Henrik Lundvquist recording the shutout.

In the NBA, the Raptors improving to 18 and 6 with a 95-90 win over the New York Knicks in overtime…..Kobe Bryant scored 26 points to move him past Micheal Jordan into third in league history and leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 100-94 victory over Minnesota. Golden State won its 16th in a row, 128-122 over New Orleans in overtime to improve to 21 and 2.
