In the NHL, Boston got by Carolina in overtime 2-1 to move three points ahead of Ottawa for the final playoff spot in the East…..The Senators lost to Florida 4-2 with Jonathon Huberdeau setting up two of the Panther goals…..Jonathon Toews scored with 31 seconds left to give Chicago a 4-3 win over Winnipeg…..The Jets have a two point lead over Los Angeles for the final playoff berth in the West but the Kings have a game in hand…..The Islanders held on for a 5-4 win over Detroit…..Calgary upended Nashville 5-2 and Pittsburgh edged San Jose 3-2 in a shootout…The Rangers lost 5-2 to Washington and it was Anaheim over New Jersey 2-1.
