Tuesday Morning Sports For March 31st

In the NHL, the Tampa Bay Lightning completed a five game sweep of Montreal with a 5-3 win….Lightning goalie Ben Bishop had two assists…..Los Angeles lost ground to Calgary in the run to make the playoffs after losing to Chicago 4-1 while the Flames downed Dallas 5-3…..Vancouver beat St. Louis 4-1….Edmonton over Colorado 4-1 and Buffalo defeated Arizona 4-1.

The “Q” League playoff series between the Sea Dogs and Baie-Comeau resumes tonight at Harbour Station. The Sea Dogs trail two games to nothing. Gametime is 7:00.

In the NBA, DeMar DeRozen scored 42 points as the Raptors won over Houston 99-96.

Canada is now 5 and 0 at the Ford Men’s World Curling Championship in Halifax after winning over the Czech Republic 11-2 and Russia 9-3.
