Local High School Student Awarded Currie Scholarship Worth $65,000

A 17-year-old local High School student Mansa Agbaku has been awarded the Currie Scholarship valued at $65,000.

She says something that really helped her during school is her studying technique, which is to study for fifty minutes then take a ten minute break.

The scholarship will cover the costs for all four years of tuition, room and board at the University of New Brunswick.

Richard Currie established the Currie Scholarship at UNB.

He led the Loblaws supermarket chain for 25 years, leaving it with a market value of $15 billion.
