Students in District 8 have seen improvements in math after the Provincial assessment.
Superintendent Susan Tipper is pleased telling CHSJ New the district is enjoying some great gains over last year in large part because of a new programme called “Our Great Math Attack”.
Students improved from last in the province to third.
Tipper adds improvement is needed in Grade 4 French immersion and in science but she says that is the norm and should be addressed provincially.
