The proposed L-N-G export terminal at Canaport is still a possibility.
That word coming from Premier Brian Gallant based on a conversation he had with a high ranking executive of Repsol which put the project on hold because of market conditions.
Gallant says he also had a meeting with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker at which time natural gas was discussed. Gallant claims better infrastructure for natural gas would benefit users in Boston as well as Saint John.
