NB Power is getting ready to battle the elements this long holiday weekend.
Environment Canada is calling for freezing rain and snow in different parts of the province.
Power customers are reminded to prepare themselves for possible weather-related outages, keeping in mind that many stores are closed for Good Friday.
NB Power has put required staff on standby and is ready to respond if outages occur.
The power utility has also secured 60 contracter crews and will position them in key areas before the freezing rain is forecasted to start.
