You have more time to have your say on the future of the Mactaquac Dam with the deadline for public input being extended by the province to May 31st.
Three more public meetings will be held in May.
The three options on the table are allowing the river to return to its natural state, rebuilding the power station and removing the power station but keeping the dam.
The costs of doing anything range from 2 billion dollars up to 5 billion.
Mactaquac produces 12 per cent of the power used in the province. It’s not expected to operate beyond 2030.
