An e-Licensing system introduced last year to make it easier for fishing enthusiasts, hunters and trappers to obtain licences online has resulted in more than 100,000 Outdoors Cards being distributed.
The Outdoors Card provides an identification number unique to cardholders, which they use for all their licensing needs.
E-licensing is currently available for fishing licences and moose draw applications.
It is expected to be eventually introduced for other licenses as well .
