More details released by City Police after an armed robbery at the Bayview Credit Union on Main Street West yesterday afternoon between 4:30 and 5:00.
A man came into the Credit Union armed with a handgun and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The robber is described as white, possibly in his 30’s, between 5’8″ and 6’0″ feet tall with a slender to medium build.
The suspect was wearing large dark colored sunglasses and displayed a dark colored scarf which covered the lower part of his face. He was wearing a dark colored toque, black jacket, black pants, and dark boots..
The robber took off in the direction of Greystone Terrace, off Catherwood Street, where he was seen getting into a newer model white colored Chev with Nova Scotia plates.
