From fries to fish to wood products…those are just some of the products being shipped from Port Saint John to markets around the globe.
President and CEO Jim Quinn tells us its the port’s job to get the right service providers.
He says if they can do that it will provides an opporotunity for producers across our province to look to bring things down to this port because its more cost effective with a shorter distances and the inland costs are cheaper.
Quinn says if they can increase the business for companies shipping out of the port that may lead them to adding more workers.
