Nearly $1.3-million being set aside in the Quispamsis budget to pave and repair 19 roads in the town this year however mayor Murray Driscoll tells CHSJ News they’re hoping they can tackle even more.
Driscoll says they’re hoping the price of asphalt will go down given the low price of oil these days which will allow more roadwork to be done in the KV community.
There’s $375,000 in the 2015 budget for work on the Hammond River Road, $200,000 going towards Parkside Road and $102,000 for Hillhurst Drive. Other roads slated for work include Sycamore Drive, Yandall Drive and Elsie Drive.
