The snowfall warning has ended for our region.
Earlier today, some people claimed to hear loud thunder and see lightning in the snowstorm.
Claude Cote tells CHSJ News they can’t confirm that but says it’s rare but not unusual to hear during heavy snow in January.
Clear spells mixed with snow squalls were the norm today with big wind gusts of 81 kilometres an hour.
By 1pm, 8 cm’s of snow fell at the Saint John airport and 10 cm’s in the KV.
