An overwhelming response to the latest edition of a six-week program in the KV that aims to equip seniors with the knowledge to recognize and report criminal activity that targets them.
That’s according to Constable Krystal Daley of the Kennebecasis Regional Police who says because of that they had to add a second class for the Seniors Police Academy which teaches traffic safety, online safety, fraud prevention, elder abuse, and reporting crime.
This is the third year of the program and the first class begins next Thursday while the second one will be held six weeks from that date.
