Kennebecasis Fire Department responding to a fire in a detached single car garage on Old Mill Lane in Rothesay.
Crews first priority was protecting the nearby house because the garage was fully involved in flames.
The garage was completely destroyed by the fire, but the damage to the house was minor and limited to the siding.
The residents of the house were able to return home after the fire was extinguished.
KV Regional Police, Ambulance New Brunswick and NB Power were all on scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
