Rothesay-Netherwood Students Score Big In Science

International recognition for a group of Grade 8 students at Rothesay-Netherwood, one of the winners in the largest science competition in the world which attracted more than 5 thousand submissions.

The students, Ore Alugo, Matthew Morehouse, Heather Chisholm and Alec Oland, came up with bulletproof clothing that’s made from super lightweight material that’s also super strong.

It’s described as being 30 times stronger than Kevlar which is now used for body armour.
