Enterprise Saint John Expressing Optimisim About 2015

Enterprise Saint John crunching the latest job numbers from StatsCan and tentatively projecting 2015 will see the beginning of a positive trend.

In Saint John, the unemployment rate decreased from an average of 9.4-percent in 2013 to 7.4-percent in 2014.

Employment increased by a thousand jobs during November.

In 2015, the target is an increase of 750 jobs over 2014, which they’re hoping the city can achieve by attracting new investments by private enterprises.
