While announcing the NDP’s platform for Atlantic Canada, Saint John-Rothesay candidate AJ Griffin says the plan is to create jobs, improve health care, help seniors live in dignity and give young people a fair start in life.
She says their platform will help small businesses grow and create local jobs by reducing their tax rate from 11 to 9 %.
Griffin says the NDP will invest $157 million dollars in new infrastructure and transit funding in New Brunswick.
She says the NDP will upgrade sewage and water treatment infrastructure and increase the quality of child care by adding 50,000 affordable care spaces around Atlantic Canada.
