The United Way taking some time to thanks their own in a ceremony at the Boys and Girls Club.
Executive Director Wendy MacDermott tells CHSJ News the Campaign Excellence Awards are a way to thank the hundreds of volunteers it takes to run a campaign every year.
She says they have a variety of awards such as New Volunteer and the Biggest Campaign.
Additonal grants were also handed out thanks to a boost in funds at the end of the campaign.
Bigs Brothers Big Sisters received $30,000 in grants.
Community Living of Saint John also received a grant.
